Foreword

Over the past 40 years, the Pertubuhan Pelestarian Bahasa Lotud Sabah (Pelestarian) has been at the forefront of development of the Lotud language. Much progress has been made to preserve and use the language. An orthography was developed and materials were written in the language.

An SIL (Summer Institute of Linguistics) couple advised and assisted in the production of Bible portions in the language. They were concerned with preserving the language and providing assistance in a variety of ways.
