Introduction

The Vame language of northern Cameroon is an Afrosiatic language with 8,500 speakers. There are several dialects: Demwa, Hurza, Pelasla, Mberem, and Ndreme. The Vame live on the massif, sharing customs with the Wuzlam, in the Canton of Mayo Ouldeme.
